Batam Trip

Ok.. Even though i thought i jus put all my photos on facebook.. i think this blog is getting so boring with all the writings and no photos.. haha.. Anyway.. Just came back from Batam with my dearest best friend who is also a BLOODY IDIOTIC BITCH..haha *I can hear her laughing now..haha* We went to Holiday Inn in Batam.. 3 days 2 nights.. UOB lady's card package.. soooo cool.. includes a 2 hour spa..hee..
Ok.. so we left our house at 10.15am? Had to check in at the ferry terminal at 11am. ANYWAY.. we got there.. all excited and happy.. u know.. u packed ur bags and u were all ready to go!! then.. BLOODY HELL.. got to the BATAM FAST to collect our ferry tix like we were told to do so.. and wtf.. we were stuck there for an hour.. AN HOUR! WHY?!! BECOS BLOODY BATAM FAST DID NOT HAVE OUR TICKETS.. SAID WE DIDNT RESERVE.. We were getting really irritated, fustrated and PISSED OFF.. Initially.. we thought its Holiday Inn's fault becos we left everything to them to book our ferry tix.. and those stupid batam fast pple.. even called Holiday Inn.. INSISTING that they didnt send them any reservations.. The boat was so about to leave and we were pissed off.. then they asked us to pay the fuel tax.. $40.. actually.. they couldnt decide if we should pay or they should claim from Holiday Inn.. so we jus told them.. we jus pay.. and if we dun have to.. we jus claim from Holiday Inn again la! BUT NO! these INFLEXIBLE PPLE.. decided to waste our time.. insisted on calling Holiday Inn again.. and buck them.. when our ferry was leaving in like 15min?! In the end.. they jus issued us 2 tix.. and we RAN to the jetty.. wth..
Once we got to Holiday Inn.. I insisted in meeting the person-in-charge.. aka the reservation team.. anyway.. we had a GREAT stay.. everything was GREAT.. the room was wonderful, the bed was HUGE.. the comforter was soooooo warm.. the service was excellent.. the spa was totally relaxing.. all in all.. an excellent resort.. so.. we jus couldnt understand why they can actually forget to book our tix.. until our last day.. before we left.. the duty manager came to see us.. and showed us copies of their emails to batam fast.. well.. THEY DID EMAIL THEM.. and they had proof.. the manager told us that they are very angry as well becos batamfast actually PUT THE BLAME ON THEM.. WHEN IN FACT, IT WAS BATAM FAST WHO MISSED OUT THAT RESERVATION.. HOLIDAY INN BOOKED OUR TICKETS LIKE IN 20TH FEB.. AND HOW DARE THEY BLAME OTHERS.. BATAM FAST SUCKS!!! ITS ONE THING TO MAKE A MISTAKE.. ITS DISGUSTING TO BLAME OTHERS.. YOU UNPROFESSIONAL, IRRESPONSIBLE, INFLEXIBLE MORONS! ok..

Fortunately, holiday inn was such a great resort.. our anger was appeased..

This is the best bed i ever slept on.. its soooo big.. i could roll 4 times on it..hahahahaa been there.. tested that.. haha anyway.. the best part is the comforter.. its so warm.. no matter how cold the air con was.. as long as u are under the comforter.. u feel warm and comfortable.. o gosh i miss it so much..

Some pple are asking me to update my blog.. haha Recently, I stopped updating this blog cos i jus upload all my photos onto facebook and then i dun have to upload them one by one here.. so ma fan..

Anyway.. I went wakeboarding with shi and her friends 2 weeks ago.. It was fun.. We went to Batam to cable-ski.. mmm.. basically i spent most of the time trying to even stand up.. cos for some reasons.. i stand up like once and travelled quite far but then forget how to again.. bloody hell.. by the time i got it.. it was time to go.. arghh.. that's why i hate cable-ski!!!!!! The damn thing pulls so hard and so sudden.. you jus go blank..hahaha unlike on a boat.. it goes SLOWLY.. and you spend more time trying different things then jus getting up.. Well.. I did like it cos there were funny pple around and of cos.. i love any sports which is related to sun, sea and... hahah *what are you thinking??*

Then last sat, I had to go to Westwood cabin to attend the launch.. Their cabin is so pretty and comfortable.. haiz.. my poor students.. haha Not to worry guys!! We are moving back to the old campus and i'm sure we will get a NEW, BIG and BEAUTIFUL cabin!!!!!! At least YOU will get it.. not me..hahaha

O.. I have been working late almost every single day SINCE i started sch and SINCE i took up GEO.. arghh.. It was getting to stressful and tiring that I was wondering how long can I do this.. and if it is really the job for me.. But.. everytime i see my students.. I jus forgets about it.. They can be so irritating yet so wonderful.. ahhaah.. O and good news.. actually.. GREAT NEWS!! I'm FINALLY going back to teaching music AND i can STOP teaching GEO.. STOP feeling like i'm the worst teacher in the world..

Anyway.. last fri.. I had to open the cabin club.. My students from sec 1 were shouting in class that they wanna compete table soccer with me. haha I dunno where they hear from that I was "good" at table soccer.. haha *i'm not.. jus won 2 students the last time and that was luck..haha* So.. I told them to meet me at the cabin club after sch.. but they followed me all the way to the staffroom then to the cabin club.. afraid i would escape.. haha hilarious.. once everything was set up.. they started competing among themselves instead of me..hahahaha crazy pple..haha After a few sets.. I finally got the chance to play.. and I paired up with a student.. and WON! ahahahaha they were screaming man..haha Everyone was so smelly and sticky cos it was so damn hot outside.. then one of my students offered to treat me to an ice cold lemon tea..hahaha so sweet.. that was life saviour man.. Then i continued marking my books at the cabin club while they continued to battle among themselves.. screaming.. THEN.. my darling students from sec 4 came to visit..hahahaha FINALLY I could sit down and talk to them.. it was so nice.. They were hilarious.. After that.. I decided to play bball.. ya.. me.. play bball.. haha my students were so nice.. instead of laughing at me like they usually do.. they were teaching me how to shoot..hahahaah

Anyway.. I jus wanted to say.. I was really happy.. and it was then.. I remembered why I chose this job.. it sounds so fake and noble.. but despite all the hard work.. then stress from these pple.. they are also the ones that cheer me up.. There are students who are so terrible i feel like jus giving up but there are so many others who continues to encourage me and cheer me up when things are tough.. Its like an energy booster.. Makes teaching so much fun.. so meaningful.. haha So.. do i love my job? I guess so.. for now..hahahaa so long as I continue to remember why I chose it in the first place..haha O.. lastly.. I cant go on without a friend like hua who listens to all my complaints and nagging..haha makes life so much more easier..
