Saw this program on Channel 8 today.. called hei bai jiang *black white talk* haha.. basically means talking about anything in the world.. and today's topic was on whether Singaporeans are rude.. apparently there's this website that took many photos of rude Singaporeans in action.. haha i havent been to that website yet.. will do so later.. anyway.. they showed many different accounts of rude behavior such as picking ur nose in public and paste it under the seat of the mrt..EWW haha or spitting everywhere you go.. haha.. real disgusting..
Well.. the prob is.. they seems to emphasize that many youngsters are rude.. but are we?!?!?! i mean.. y do they always like to assume youngsters are rude jus becos they are a few black sheeps out there?! actually.. in my experiences, i seldom see rude youngsters but more middle ages adults and old pple who are rude.. for example.. i seldom see youngster picking their noses in public.. though there are a few who loves spitting.. as for giving up seats for the elderly.. i saw them interview this middle age auntie who complained that no one gives up seats to her.. but then.. hello.. are u thattttt OLD?! For me.. honestly.. i have given up seats for a few elderly and pregnant women before.. but i usually decide whether this person is in need of seat.. for example, i dun give up seats for working adults who jus think they can get a seat by using the fact that they are slightly older, or KIDS.. i mean.. they dun even sit STILL.. and kids should seriously learn some balancing..haha or uncles or aunties that still seem to have really strong legs and arms..
The point is.. everyone chooses and have different ideas of who needs the seat.. so we cant really judge whether one is jus plain rude or inconsiderate jus becos he or she refuses to give up her seat.. what if that poor fellow sitting on the chair is because he is feeling unwell?? is there a sign that says "pls give up seats for the unwell"?? Furthermore.. pls la.. dun judge the whole bunch of youngsters jus become a few are rude..
There are several times when i encountered rude Singaporeans or rather jus people *how do u noe they are Singaporeans? may they are from China?? India??* that are usually WORKING ADULTS.. hahaha they come in a bunch.. AND they seem more "IN NEED" of getting a seat then the elderly..haha they would paste their faces on the door when the train comes jus to make sure they get in first.. not even allowing passengers to alight.. o and then.. once.. i was hoping to get into a train at peak hour.. and i couldnt.. i thought "its really crowded".. then when i moved further from the train, deciding to take the next train and DAMN.. i saw a huge empty space in the middle of the cabin.. pple are jus squeezing near the door.. cant they move in?!
So.. think again.. who are really rude? young ones? old ones? or jus random pple??? *I say random!!*

My grandma's bday celebration..
Wah... soooooo bz these few days that i dun even have time to on my laptop.. still having exams and i'm SICK AGAIN.. arghh.. cant slp well even when i need my slp the most now.. haiz.. anyway.. i still went for my grandma's bday celebration last sat.. hee.. how to resist the temption of seafood?! hahaha also becos it's been some time since we gathered. (I'm much much closer to my mother's relatives..) Seems like many of my friends and even my family have realised that i love to take photos of food..haha they keep saying things like "o ya.. she loves to take photos of food.." or "wait..dun start eating.. she sure wanna take photo of the food"..haha thanks ar.hahah what's the point of living without food?!!! so here are the photos!!
I love this photo.. cos my grandma is really smiling very happily.. seldom see her smile so happily.. hahaha *i always have the image that my grandma's a very fierce person ever since young.. dunno y.. think becos i seldom talk to her.. communication breakdown..* o ya.. and on the left is..... WEN JIA!! hahaha no need to repeat who she is again rite?! haha anyway.. she looks so cute.. she's like thinking "why are u taking my pic AGAIN?!" haha she looks irritated..haha
FOOD!! haha the orange colour one is Asam fish.. seems like everyone cant wait to start eating.. then there's Kungfu pork..so funny... my uncle was saying probably its becos we have to noe kungfu to eat it.. then my bro said it is most likely they beat the pork before cooking it.. to make it tender.. then there's sambal kang kong.. nothing special..
Cereal prawns!!!!!!! hee.. my FAVOURITE.. actaully i love the oats better than the prawns.. hee.. act a BOWL of it..hee..

DID U HAVE TO USE UR WHOLE HAND?!" haha.. look..haha my mum is giving tissues to him WHILE nagging.. "whats wrong with him.. why muz he use his whole hand? why?!" haha
yay.. i insisted on taking a family photo.. so finally.. there it is.. too bad my uncle isnt in it.. cos we need someone to take the photo and there was no one else around.. hee.. look at Wen Jia.. soo cute.. haha soo happy.. the boy in red is my cousin too.. called Wen Tat.. very active boy.. TOO active.. but quite obedient too..

On sat, my dear brought me to rollerblade at east coast park for the very first time!! hee.. it was a wonderful day.. it's been a really long time since i rollerbladed.. so was very unstable initially.. later on.. it was ok..but still very afraid to fall..hee.. cos..then i will have very ugly scars added to my already scarred legs..EWW.. anyway.. lene!!! i've been dreaming of u!! hahaaha in all those dreams.. its always u have finally come back from aus!! hee i muz really miss u man.. anyway.. my exams are coming.. in another 5 days.. Lene.. when u come back.. we muz go rollerblading..heee.. also to vivo city.. to sentosa.. to the indo restaurant.. hee.. soooo many places to go.. to make up for lost time man!!!! cant wait till u are finally back!!! *i'm most likely going to cry when i see u..omg.. so pls be prepared..hahaha* anyway.. here are the photo

That's deardear and me.. the sun is already setting.. anyway.. we spotted this really mini kite at the end of the jetty.. it was really cute.. and we took quite sometime b4 we realised who is the one that's flying that mini kite.. that guy tied it to his bicycle and was actually enjoying pple trying to spot where is the kite tied to.. haha irritating fellow.. he was laughing at us!! arghh!!
My deardear say he looks better from this angle..haha so he insisted i take it from this angle.. so how is it? haha
I wanted to raise my hands up..but then there were soo many pple.. and if i did that.. i will look like shi in one of her photos.. *see her friendster if u are curious* so i end up in this pose.. nice view though...hee

Seems like this sunglasses suits me much better than those superstar-auntie sunglasses..hee shows that i still look YOUNG..lala o ya.. btw.. pple are building sandcastles behind us.. they are selling this sandcastle building set.. very advanced tools..haha to build beautiful sandcastle.. even kids who are younger than 5 yrs old can build really pretty sandcastles..
ok.. so quit thinking Singapore as an urban-only place.. it has beautiful sun set sceneries too!!
That's what we had for dinner!!!! hee.. you are right if u are thinking "that hokkien mee doesnt look very tasty"..haha it isnt.. haha the sambal lala beside it pretty gd.. the sauce actually taste like the chilli crab sauce.. hee.. but dear say the lala is too big.. so he doesnt like it..hee.. and that means.. I GET TO IT LOTS OF IT!!!!!
Sambal stingray.. lene.. miss it?!?! hahaha i liked it.. not bad.. at least its not like the one in AMK S11.. that one was HORRIBLE.. the stingray was spoilt.. smelly.. EWWW.. this one is fresh.. and not bad.. but i think its not spicy enough.. and not enough onions.. hee i love onions..

Finally got try out pepper lunch on wed!! hee.. Anyway..its located at Takashimaya.. and once again.. i have taken a few photos on the food..

Actually there's nothing big deal abt the pepper lunch.. of cos for pple like me who LOVES pepper.. i added LOTS of pepper and so for me it tastes not too bad.. its OK.. average.. anyway.. there's a short clip i took while pbear was helping me cook my food.. note his expression..hahhaa like so unhappy..hahaha

I completely forgotten i took some photos when i went to vivo city last week.. hee.. jus a few.. like 2.. here they are..
This is the taken at Vivo city.. jus in case lene.. u may not noe.. Vivo city is a new shopping centre in Harbour Front.. its VERY VERY big.. think they want it to be the biggest shopping centre in Singapore or i dunno.. the entire SEA?? haha i'm not sure.. i sure didnt finish walking around that day.. its jus too big.. and there are TONS to shop!! hee
We took like 5 photos that looks similar to this..haha cos it was sooo bright we could hardly open our eyes.. hee
I drew this at the carnival..hee.. its some carnival that Auntie Gwen asked Jason to help out.. so i was there too.. firstly.. u have to understand this isnt my initial idea..at least the pig should have been coloured properly..hahaa no time though.. this is coloured by LUKE.. anyway.. i wanted to write a ZONE A and then like i usually do..draw pigs all over it.. but didnt work out becos Alex and Luke were drawing on this board too..mmm..
Alex said the background isnt coloured enough.. so we went to colour it again.. o ya.. and that luke.. haha he jus had to destroy it by colouring the nose of himself green.. irritating.. wat a destroyer..haha and then i decided to sign my name..haha to show that I drew it.. there.. can see? DONE BY JAS..hee
M.I.C.K.E.Y M.O.U.S.E!!!! haha so cute right.. got it from the carnival.. i'm giving my minnie mouse to my cousin Wen Jia.. miss her sooo much.. anyway.. we look like two tired and tanned mice..hee
That's it.. no more photos.. the carnival was fun la.. jus that i had to pick up the stupid shuttle cocks for HOURS.. cos we were assigned to tend this badminton game stall.. and this pple had to hit the shuttle into a SMALL hole.. almost impossible.. dunno why they even try.. haiz.. a few kids game to me *ya.. when jason was somewhere else looking for prizes to steal haha* and gave me 18 game tix!!! 18 ok?! 1 game = 3 shots.. so 18 =54 shots!!!! omg.. my leg and butt hurt so much now.. thanks KIDS!! you DEVILS!! haha at the end.. we got to spray on some boards.. like the one i showed you.. hee.. that was fun.. cos i actually got to draw my famous PIG on a LARGE scale..hee.. anyway.. without the carnival.. jason and i wouldnt noe where to do and what to do that day.. so ok la.. tired and smelly but happy..hee *o ya.. not to mention jason was ultra nice to me probably cos i was "forced" to go there with him..hee.. we didnt noe it would be soooo damn tiring..*

Are You happy???Wat a qns rite? haha sometimes.. when the day ends and i'm abt to slp.. i start to feel really lonely and sad..haiz.. its jus that.. after doing so many things in the day.. at night.. u jus start to ask urself.. what have i done???.. then u start recalling what have been happening in ur life in the past 21yrs. then of cos.. once again.. i think of my grandma.. haiz.. like..suddenly she's there.. suddenly she's gone.. its such a sad feeling.. so sad there isnt any tears left.. its so diff from missing whom u noe u will see soon.. like charlene.. i miss her but at least i noe i will be seeing her very soon.. but will i eve see my grandma again? is there really such things as spirits? souls? ghosts? god? what if there isnt?? does it mean i wun see my loved ones once they are gone?
See.. time keeps moving.. it doesnt even stop for a sec.. and as time ticks.. u busily get whatever u are told to.. done.. like doing ur hmwk.. ur projects.. having dinner.. bathing.. brush ur teeth.. prepare for exams.. blah blah blah.. then in the end.. u ask urself.. what have u been doing? is THAT wat u really wan?? are u happy???? i was asking that myself yst.. suddenly u already lived in this world for 21yrs.. what have i done? study? eat? made the best friends i nv thought i would? met jason? love my parents? my siblings.. been playing piano.. practising.. telling pple i wan to be a piano teacher in the future.. THEN AGAIN.. do i really wan to be a piano teacher? will i be happy? then.. do i wan to get married?? have children?? will i be happy?
Some pple may think its damn stupid to ask these qns.. i mean after all.. time is ticking.. no time to stop and think abt it.. jus go with the flow.. but what if u grow old..and u realised u aint happy?? most pple doesnt like studying.. but they do..and they do it damn well.. but then again.. why do they do it? for themselves? for their loved ones?? but then ur love ones will leave one day.. they all do.. like my grandma.. soon.. my parents.. my siblings.. my friends..my husband.. my children.. then wat??? pretend to be happy?? go on living becos pple tell u to? so sianz right.. what is life? why are we here?? pls dun tell me noble things like..i'm here becos i want to help others.. make pple happy.. pls la..face it..hahaha i'm not noble la.. i never really believed anyone is.. even the most enlightened kind person does what he or she does for herself.. for eg. to attain NIRVANA..haha or to be loved by others.. isnt human beings selfish?? *its jus my opinion so dun go shooting me down..*

See.. time keeps moving.. it doesnt even stop for a sec.. and as time ticks.. u busily get whatever u are told to.. done.. like doing ur hmwk.. ur projects.. having dinner.. bathing.. brush ur teeth.. prepare for exams.. blah blah blah.. then in the end.. u ask urself.. what have u been doing? is THAT wat u really wan?? are u happy???? i was asking that myself yst.. suddenly u already lived in this world for 21yrs.. what have i done? study? eat? made the best friends i nv thought i would? met jason? love my parents? my siblings.. been playing piano.. practising.. telling pple i wan to be a piano teacher in the future.. alright.. first thing first.. SI ALEX!!!! wan to kill him already..haha he was supposed to bring shi and i to this ramen resaturant around raffles place.. he says its really interesting..cos they have like levels of spiciness.. *is that how to spell??* so then we were very interested... went we reached raffles place mrt.. he said we should look at the map..cos he doesnt really remember how to go there.. ok..then he said it was AT far east square... OK... then we went.. walked like one WHOLE big round.. FINALLY got there.. almost died of hunger.. perspiring like siao... THEN.. we saw this jap restaurant.. it was CLOSED.. so we were really SIANZ.. but then that's not really why i'm mad...
we had no choice.. so we ate at another restaurant.. it had korean food and chinese food.. after we got home.. guess what he told me... HE GOT THE WRONG PLACE... KAOZ!! he said his friend was THERE THAT DAY.. and it is NOT at far east square.. its is OPP far east square.. -_-" I was like.. "YOU DUN EVEN NOE HOW THE RESTAURANT IS SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE WHEN U BEEN THEREEEE!!!!!!!!!!" GOD!!!! i nearly killed him.. that day i nearly became a murderer..hahaha
anyway.. here are some photos we took.. of that korean restaurant.. *filled with china chinese waiters and waitresses..that are really BLUR* food isnt gd either....
Here's the "cold dish".. not nice.. the one on the left is ok.. but the one on the right that is supposed to be kimchi using raddish.. is horrible.. BITTER... not nice..
The one on the left was supposed to be Si Chuan Stir Fried Beef.. BUT.. it didnt say it was COLD.. i mean its STIR FRIED!!! it's HORRIBLE.. not nice AT ALL...
Seafood steamboat.. looks bad? ya.. tastes bad too..haha too "healthy".. not salty enough..but i think u have to cook it longer..then the taste starts to come out...
The only better food is the kimchi soup..but somehow i cant upload the photo.. stupid blogspot.. anyway.. its ok..i think the kimchi soup i cook even better..hahah very easy to cook...hee
